Walking Dead 402: Infected
by Jake Albano
The second episode of the fourth season of The Walking Dead was, by far, a huge improvement from the first episode. What the first episode lacked, this one made up for in every way possible.
The episode featured a perfect mixture of action, drama, and character development. We can see Rick throughout the episode become more and more torn by all of the death that is happening. It still raises the question as to how long Rick can stay sane before he completely loses it. Also, the action in this doesn’t feel forced like in the season premiere, but rather flows nicely with the rest of the episode. Furthermore, The episode ends perfectly; you’re not actually certain what to expect next episode, but you know that things are only going to get worse than they already have here.
All in all, this was a pretty good episode, definitely an improvement from the last episode.
